BROKEN

This poem somewhat describes my life in a way that has impacted me to start writing poems.

Just a 17 year old girl

She thought she had everything in the world,

Then her parents started to fight

She couldn’t stand it

So she locked herself in her room

And she would cut and cut

And once that happened

She ran away

Her parents were so into it

They didn’t notice she was gone

When they did

They were so scared

They didn’t know what to do

So they called the cops

Later that night

The cops found her

She was near death

She had cuts on her stomach, legs, and arms

She was on the verge of dying

Her parents wished for a better life for her

Then she realized 

Life's too precious to waste

So she is going to do better in life….
