Mother, I'm Sorry

Mother, I'm Sorry

A Poem by Roselyn Crisostomo
"

This is a poem I wrote about my own life. Lucky for me, she hadn't died yet and I'm just too afraid to spill my feelings in front of my mom. And I don't take vices or go to any bar like in this poem;)

"

Mother, I’m sorry

Mother, I’m sorry,

For all the things that made you worry.

I’ve been causing too much trouble,

Letting your advices pass like a mumble.

Mother I’m sorry,

I’ve been so stubborn lately.

Not listening to your advices,

And still consuming vices.

Mother, I’m sorry,

I rarely made you happy.

For all the good things you've done,

All I did was to run.

Mother, I’m sorry,

For making your life a misery.

I now realized how important you are,

How you kept me from going often to a bar.

Mother, I’m truly sorry,

I wish I could help you lighten your carry.

I would be a good child for you,

Sorry mom, and I love you.

I think the last three words gave the poem to another track again... Oh well. I'm just a newbie at writing :)
