Pain in Your Eyes

Pain in Your Eyes

A Poem by Roselyn Crisostomo
"

This is just a random poem about a cheated girl. I usually write about those things because I'm just a teen.

"

Pain in your Eyes

You walked down the beach

Remembering his speech

About your future with him

How you make a great team

He held your hand gently,

Wanting noting more than to break free.

Smiles made the whole day amazing,

It was like your heart is racing.

He didn’t show up or even call,

After your evening date which you recall.

You started searching for him,

Even when the sky showed dim.

There he is, in your friend’s front yard.

You began to feel weak but still kept your guard.

His lips were glued on her face,

But you can’t do anything but to gaze.

Your heart has been torn into pieces,

 Watching them threw endless kisses.

Your mind began to wonder why,

But all you can do is cry.

A sad and strong poem. A good story describing happiness turn to sadness too quickly. You create very good poem. Would leave a upset young lady in real life. A excellent poem.
