My Love

This is a poem of how I feel that the one person I truly love is so far, and that I can only see him during the holidays. Sorry if some of the wording isn't good, I couldn't find good rhyming words.

Being stuck in my home

with nothing to fear,

but even though I'm alone,

I wish you were here.

To give me a hug,

when I need you the most.

To make me smile big,

when I hear you boast.

I love you,

with all my heart.

And it makes me upset,

to know we're apart.

I need a hug.

I need a smile.

I wish you were around,

to cuddle for a while.

You are my love,

my joy,

my happiness.

I'm glad to have you,

because if not,

I'm sure I'd be depressed.

Sorry if there are any errors, but for this one poem, I don't really care. I just wanted to write this for someone who I love with my heart.

If anyone has better rhyming words for "happiness" and "most" please let me know.

Sorry, for I do not know better rhyming words. But that's mostly because I tend to write in spanish, as I feel more comfortable using it. Anyway, looking forward for more of your work

Thank you very much, but I don't tend to write much poems. I prefer to write lots of stories. The only time I write a poem, is if I have any inspiration to write one, and if I can think of rhyming words to make it work.

I love poems that rhyme :) I know a lot of rhymes for 'most', but none of them fit in :/. Love sure is a difficult thing, but oh so wonderful. Good job ~
