~Chapter 7~ Dark to LightA Chapter by Rose A school that looks after and raises those who have been abandoned by their family just because they have supernatural abilities, and aren't truly human. ~Chapter 7~ Dark to Light The three of us looked at each other, wondering the exact same thing; what the hell was going on? Both Chinatsu and I were becoming a little scared from about what, or who, was trying to attack us, and Jason was rather annoyed with whoever had started to attack us. "You two get out of here!" He shouted, trying to make sure we were safe, as he summoned some creatures from the dead to protect and help us out. "No." I said, as I summoned a ball of fire into my hand. "We're going to..." Before I could continue, I got hit by a bolt of lightning and fell unconscious. The last thing I heard before descending into the darkest depths of nothing, was Chinatsu shouting my name. ********* My sister had been hit by a bolt of lightning, just as a figure appearing in front of us all. He was a tall guy with brown hair and what seemed like blood red eyes. There was something about his scent that was familiar to me, he smelt like a half vampire, like me. He wasn't just half vampire, he also seemed to be half human, but not an ordinary human. There was something different about him. He was carrying a sword upon his back and before I knew it, he had it pointed right at us. What was he going to do to us? Jason noticed that the sword was being pointed towards us, and he summoned out creatures and people from the dead to protect us, while both him and I attempted to get my sister out of there. "Attack him." Jason said, as he picked my sister up bridal style into his arms. "Let's get out of here." He said, looking over to me, and I just replied with a simple nod of the head. We both ran for what seemed like hours, before finally reaching up with the others. They were all looking at my sister in worry, and wondering what had happened, that had resulted in us all being split up into different groups. As we headed to the school, that same figure from before appeared in our way once again. This was starting to get me extremely pissed off, so I transformed into my wolf form, which consisted of black fur and white paws. I tried to pin the guy down to the ground. I got thrown against Hiroki, but luckily, he was able to catch me and placed me down on the ground gently. "What are we supposed to do?" Sophia questioned, looking over to Shadow. Without saying a word, Shadow wrapped shadows around the figure without even going near him. "Nice work!" Cain said, thinking that now Shadow had gotten a hold of this figure, that this battle was over. But he was wrong. This was only the beginning. ******** As I slowly started to gain consciousness and come out of the deep dark depths of nothing, I realised that I wasn't laying on the ground but instead, I was in someone's arms. I couldn't figure out who it was, but whoever it was, I knew it was either one of two people. It was either my sister, or Jason. I decided it that it had to be Jason, as Chinatsu wasn't strong enough to be able to hold me in her arms, like this person was doing at this moment. I didn't notice at first, but there was some kind of battle going on at the moment, and whoever was carrying me wasn't involved in it. I could recognise a few voices, and one I didn't know at all. What was going on out there? ********* I had no idea where I was, or why I was attacking these people. They had never done anything wrong to me before. What was wrong with me? I was supposed to protect the innocent and not hurt them. Why was I doing the opposite? ********* Shadow's shadows kept the figure and prevented him for moving, and Yuuki tried to use her power to change the boy from being evil and wanting to hurt us in any way possible, to being good and wanting to help us find Zakura. "It's working Yuuki." Hiroki said, holding her gently, stopping her from falling, as she was still young and didn't have much powers. "I'm getting...low on...energy." She said, struggling to breath. Clearly doing this was taking a lot out of her, and we had to hope that it would work. Within a few more minutes, it worked. Lucky for us, it worked, just as Yuuki collapsed in Hiroki's arms. He gently picked her up, holding her like a big brother would do to a little sister, heading back towards the school and Yuuki's dorm. Now it was time to find out who exactly this guy was. "Who are you?" Jason questioned, walking over, still holding my sister in his arms. I thought that they looked quite cute together, and thought that maybe they both were hiding feelings they had for one another. "My name is Shane Daniels." The boy, called Shane, replied. "I'm sorry for any trouble I've caused you. I never meant you any harm. I don't even know why I was attacking you kind people for." This was a little too strange for my liking. However, I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt, as we all headed back towards the school, after Shadow released Shane from his shadows.
