~Chapter 3~ A Dark SurpriseA Chapter by RoseA school that looks after and raises those who have been abandoned by their family just because they have supernatural abilities, and aren't truly human.~Chapter 3~ A Dark Surprise It surprised us all to see a young girl there, who had the same appearance as Hiroki, but wasn't Hiroki. We wondered where he had gone, and where this girl had come from. Sophia was the first one to speak up, and asked the girl if she knew where Hiroki had gone. "Hello." She spoke in a soft, quiet voice. "Have you seen a boy who looks like you? His name is Hiroki." She smiled softly towards the girl, not wanting to scare her. However, the girl seemed to be rather sad, as a few light tears had fallen down her face. "I-I am Hiroki..." She sniffled, wiping away her tears. "T-This always happens to me during the New Moon." She seemed rather upset. "I-I didn't want anyone to know." She then went quiet, and all we heard from her was her silently crying. "Don't cry." I said in a kind and caring voice. "Everyone has something strange. It's natural for you. If you want, we'll make sure that every New Moon, we get you out of class early, and into your dorm as quick as possible. That way, the only people that will know the truth, will be us here. You can trust us." I extended my hand out towards her, as she hesitantly took it, getting up of the ground. "Thank you." She said, as she wiped away her tears. ********* Later on the next day, Hiroki was back to his normal self. Luckily for him, the transformation only lasted the night of the New Moon, so all he had to do was make sure to stay in his dorm the entire night, so nobody would see him. We had all agreed that seeing as it was the boys dorm Hiroki was staying in the entire time, that both Shadow and Jason would make sure that on the nights of the New Moon, he would get to his dorm before he transformed into a female. None of us had class today, so we all decided to go for a walk into town. Chinatsu never really liked walking much, so she had transformed herself into her wolf form. Her wolf form had black fur and the odd white paw, with piercing red eyes. My wolf form wasn't the same as hers, but unlike her I never went into my wolf form unless there was something I had to do as a wolf. However, when she wanted, she could easily make her eyes stay her golden brown, so she would appear to people as more of a dog, rather than a wolf. ********* We walked for ages into town, and looked through all the shops. It was getting rather dark by the time we started to head back towards the high school, when out of nowhere, the lights turned off and we were left in nothing but utter darkness. "What's going on?!" Shadow exclaimed, protectively holding Sophia close to him. "I don't know." Chinatsu said to us all, using her telepathy. "We need to get back to the high school, now." Hiroki said, knowing that this darkness wasn't good. But before we could go anywhere, I sensed something that wasn't good at all. I tried to figure out how far away this presence was from us, but it was no good. "We got to go." I said, trying to stay calm. However, before I could say anymore, there was a dark cackle that came from inside the darkness, before a pair of bright yellow eyes were staring directly at us all. "You're not going anywhere." The voice said, as he walked out of the darkness. A boy with pure white hair, and bright yellow eyes. There was something about his presence that scared me, as well as the others. We tried to figure out what this figure wanted, and who exactly he was, when out of nowhere, some dead people attacked him. Whoever they were, they hadn't been quick enough, as just before the figure vanished, he grabbed Chinatsu, who had turned back into her human form, taking her with him. "Serena-Jane!" She shouted, just before she vanished from sight. "Chinatsu!" I screamed rather loudly. Why had it been my sister? What had she ever done to him? I had never met that guy before in my life, and had no idea who he was. But one thing was for sure, I would give up my life to get her back. "We'll get her back Serena-Jane. I know we will." Hiroki didn't realise that Chinatsu only called me by my actual name because it annoyed the hell out of me, and seeing as he was new, I was able to let go and not get mad at him. "Please just call me Serena, Hiroki." I said, trying to go back to the calm way I had first been when the figure had appeared. "I don't like being called Serena-Jane." I sighed. I couldn't stop thinking about my sister, and if she was going to be okay. I wasn't wanting to lose her, as she was the only family I had, that didn't care if I had strange powers, and wasn't truly human. ********* The last thing I remember was being taken away from everyone, as strange dead people had attacked the figure. I had never seen him before and whoever he was, he was going to pay for having taken me. I wasn't the kind of girl who was going to sit around quietly and let him keep me prisioner. Oh no. I would do anything I could just to get free. And damn it, I was going to escape and get back to my sister. *********
