A Poem by Anna

What other greater misery

Is there than loving someone"?

It plunges deep enough

To carve out any doubt that

I might be capable of letting go.

My claws are deeper in you

Than the wound you place in me.

My mind is full of you"

All things fall off of shelves

To make room for the trinkets

You hand me day to day.

I will become a painful mosaic

Of the libraries I burned down

In your name.

I am miserable, I'm uncertain"

I love you.

The misery is worth it.
