Papyrus Spirit

Papyrus Spirit

A Poem by Anna

There is something incomplete
Walking around
Within my rib cage as I
Exhale.
I'm an unfinished book
Written all the way
But the last lines
Missing
Waiting in limbo-
Paralyzing beauty
Is solace
Is loneliness
But togetherness is exactly
Like this too.
There's something unfortunate
Something arcane
About never telling
The story to completion-
It's still good
It might be better.
Maybe I never will
Maybe I won't write the lines
Because
I never learned how to
Quit weaving;
I wouldn't let us learn
How to die.

Dear Anna. You write like a ancient writer. You give enough and make the reader desire more.
"Maybe I never will
Maybe I won't write the lines
Because
I never learned how to
Quit weaving;
I wouldn't let us learn
How to die."
I liked the above lines. The weaving of life lead us to where we need to be. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.
