A Poem by Anna

Lightning traces the greying marble sky,
leaving a trail to remind me of December.

Eins, zwei, drei; blau Mutter.

Thunder rises in an outrageous applause,
crying my name to be certain I remember.

Eins, zwei, drei; mein rot Bruder
und meine grün Schwester-
Sie sind wölfe.

Mist engulfs the rolling emerald glade,
settling a layer of heavy dew to linger.

Eins, zwei, drei; lila Tochter.

When I was a young man. I was station for three year In Germany. I try to learn the German language. A lot of people don't know. So many wonderful poets and writers from Germany. I liked this poem. The gentle flow of thoughts brought me into personal and real thoughts. Thank you Anna for sharing the amazing poetry.

I love the poem. Unfortunately I am not fluent in German. Beautifully descriptive, the imagery.

Good job, though I'm disappointed that I don't know German, lol.
