Silly GirlA Poem by Rosaria_VAbout love and how your afraid to fall but it doesn't even feel like your falling. My
head says, silly girl when are you ever gunna learn, and my heart beats with
the words, just give this a chance. Taking just one more breath… never knowing
what to expect. As time passes on this feeling grows more and more intense. I
feel it in my heart and within my soul that something is meant to be. To have
you stand in front of me, it would feel like a dream. Every
time I have to think my head gets in the way. But every time I see your face I
know this is meant to be. The words echoing around me to give this up and let
this dream fly away like a million doves to a blue lit sky. My feelings get in
the way and I scream out inside, Silly girl with your heart so blinded by a heart so
far from you, but he feels so close; Silly girl when he looked into your eyes
you already knew that he was meant for you. I feel the beating of my heart like
a thunderstorm as the time comes closer to the moment that we meet again. Day after day, night
after night I can’t help but ask myself why I feel the way I do. Oh silly girl,
don’t you know. I have my head rapped in the clouds in total bliss and at the
very same time with uncertainty. I just have to believe…. Silly girl with your heart so blinded by a heart so far
from you, but he feels so close; Silly girl when he looked into your eyes you
already knew that he was meant for you. Silly girl when are you ever gunna
learn? As time passes by this feeling grows more and more intense. I hear the world telling me no when I feel god telling me
yes. I want to hold on to this dream like no other. I can almost imagine your
hand in mind and you loving me too. I can also see the look in your eyes and
knowing our love is true. Till
then, I will quiet the voices. I will believe in faith and that good things
come to those who wait. I can’t forward the hands of time but I know this will
be worth the wait. And when the time finally comes I will not be afraid.
Eventually they will see this silly girl believed in her dream. No matter how
crazy as it may have seemed, this silly girl always chose to believe.
