Prologue

 

I stood in the darkness, observing the small fire burning in front of me. The only triumph I ever feel, as I watch things burn before me.

My life was hell, but I would reclaim the power they had taken from me. Everything dear to me is gone, but I will avenge them whatever it takes. I will make them suffer for what they have done, they will pay and I vow this now.

My life has become a mere shadow, I will never be whole again. I hate what I have become, I will never love or feel again. I am an allegiance of the dark. The dark creature, a horror story that slinks through the darkness, the product of nightmares.

 I was nearly there, getting closer every day, each fire brought me nearer. I knew what I had to do, but how could I accomplish this impossible feat? I was determined, I was going to fight back they would rue the day they came for me. I was coming back for them.

 It was there turn to scream.
