Death In The Night

Death In The Night

A Poem by Darkest Rose

Single worded answers,
Eyes filled with tears,
Shivers every second,
And one single fear.

Horrid words are whispered,
Whimpers rent the air,
Silky smooth fingers,
And a gun as fine as hair.

Every second counts,
One chance to live,
Answer every question,
And don't shed a single tear.

Your precious time is up,
No longer should you fear,
Cause the triggers gone of,
And your dead before you shed,
One
       single
                  little
                          tear!

First poem in a while? This is good, I love how you did the last words in structure. :)
