A Poem by Darkest Rose

Free from the bonds,
Floating above the earth,
Released from my shackles,
Of earth's cruel clutch.

A free spirit,
A free soul,
A free woman,
A free thing.

No longer bound,
No longer held in clutches,
Escaping the earth,
Freeing my life.

Passion and heart,
Soul and spirit,
Released to the wind,
Free from this fate.

Free from the world,
Free from the pain,
Free from the destruction,
Free from the cruel bounds.

       .  .   .  .Utterly free....

Author's Note

Darkest Rose
This is another one of my on-the-spot-need-to-write, pieces. I was thinking about again lost family. There souls are free, there no longer bound. Be brutally honest with reviews please! :)

Beautiful and yet sad... very nicely said and written, hugzz. Colors were nice as well.

Wow, inspiring. Color scheme was cool. And the words were beautiful.

On first read I thought this was a suicide/ending kinda poem, but reading your note means that is has another meaning to it, which is great :)
