We Thieves!A Poem by Darkest Rose
We fled through the night,
Thick as thieves, Holding gold in our grasp. We fled over roof tops, Under bridges, Through the ground. We robbed from the king, The queen, And the crown. We robbed the merchants, The beggars, And the blind. We fled from the city of thieves, The king, The queen, And the crown!
