We Thieves!

We Thieves!

A Poem by Darkest Rose

We fled through the night,
Thick as thieves,
Holding gold in our grasp.
We fled over roof tops,
Under bridges,
Through the ground.
We robbed from the king,
The queen,
And the crown.
We robbed the merchants,
The beggars,
And the blind.
We fled from the city of thieves,
The king,
The queen,
And the crown

I came up with this in my head last night right before I went to sleep! I didn't even write it on paper or try to think of a poem so no clue where this came from! Leave me your views and be brutally honest please!

It reminded me of pirates! The different colours of certain words was very creative, too.

I liked this a lot and the part about the king and queen fleeing. I also liked the use of colors. Great job.
