My Voice Is Lost

My Voice Is Lost

A Poem by Darkest Rose

I want to tell you,
How bad it hurts,
When you say I'm a drama queen,
And tell me to shut up.
You say I can tell you anything,
But then when I do,
You turn your back on me,
And pretend I'm not there.
You say I'm free to speak to you,
But when I truly need to,
You run and hide,
And leave me to cry.
I yearn to tell you,
I cry myself to sleep.
I worry all the time,
I miss you when I cry.
But I can't speak,
My voice is lost.
I yearn to have it back.
But my voice is lost.

Really touching with emotions... that show nicely written in this poem, i love the last stanza, it sums it all up with that impact of the emotion, i like this a lot:
"But I can't speak,
My voice is lost.
I yearn to have it back.
But my voice is lost."
