Dancing Along Ropes

Dancing Along Ropes

A Poem by Darkest Rose

                                                 Dancing along the ropes,
Looking into blackness,
One careless mistake and I fall.
Darkness awaits,
Calling with that raspy voice
'Come to me oh child of light'
I shake,
I stutter,
I prance and I leap
But what for?
I made my mistakes
I rose and I fell,
I worried and fussed.
But my mistake,
Was when I leapt too far.
