Relativity

Relativity

A Poem by Rosa Carlyle-Mitchell

Then the stars hung like lamps
in the immense vault
that's the sky.
That's all we know,
though
the maker's script
we try to magnify
It dismantles sanity;
our pupils cannot receive
that much light.
They shrink to nothing
but a speck - and so:
our size becomes our plight.
