Bitter race

.... All life resides in the inferno of man-made-hell. All life sweltered within a humid maw prison. He cried.....
Spiralled in the exhausted places of live, no life to live in the life`s ground. Each day living in pieces to pieces, still no longer a fit to give a meaning or joy to life...
So what does this life have that makes it The Worst? It’s one hellish, in every f*****g way worse for them--it’s like syphilis (which amount to the same thing). Just so you know, the old rich blokes in the world who dance around like seedy granddads and make filthy money,. Making crappy money from the blood of poor. Never cared for some coordinated movements for those people(poor) .
We had a paper back in M.I.T `Industrial management / Economic management`. One question was asked like every year. And we students used to prepare the answer, mostly it was asked for 5 marks.
Question was ~ what factors are important before setting up a industry? ?
Well, a question like that must be one of the keys to interpreting the test. We used to write many points and i remember we used to include this point CHEAP LABOUR. If a student doesn’t prepare or knows that answer, he's probably full of s**t. But he may still be full of s**t if doesn’t write CHEAP LABOUR, because he could still be playing to the test. If he assumes an honest answer without putting that point, will be considered more favourably by the examiner.
At that time i had no insight what i was writing. Never cared much. Just wrote it to get marks and excel out. After 11 months of stay in BKT (off the road tyres..Only company in the world who claims to have the maximum varieties and pattern in the world). Now if there are varieties, it will surely lead to many complicacies. More complicacies means more troublesome for the workers.. Anyway talking about CHEAP labour what picture comes to your mind.. Maybe a person/ labour working tooth and nail to earn his bread and butter. Or maybe another envisage to your head.. But POVERTY ( worlds 40% poor are in india) is seamlessly stitched to this so called society. Poverty is peachy.
Before joining BKT i had no idea how a industry really function. I was in Du Pont for my internship for 6 months. I didn’t use to mingle much with the labours. It was a automated chemical plant. And most of the time i used to kill my time sitting in a AC room. But in BKT the things are different. Working in a ambient temp of 40 -50 degrees. Depending about the area. Some area vying for mercury level of more than 53 degrees .but my stay in those are is not more than minutes or seconds. What about the people (i mean labour, i will be using the word people in some places)??.. Air ducts are all fixed where those people work but it’s of no phial. Stream used for vulcanisation swelter the whole area with heat. Warm gust of air makes it unbearable to people like us. And if you are one who cant face the sun without a suns scream? Think about the plight of those people.
Working in such temp is even far better than a area about which i am going to write now.
1. Ok tell me how you are going to feel, if every day is a holi in your life. Everyday people colours you. You will surely get pissed off with your life. But those people works under a room where every day for 8-16 hours. It’s the Mixing department . it will give you a gaunt and deathly look at the first sight. if hell is on earth it’s here.i don’t know about the brothel so i cant write a fallacy. mammoth machines with jaws or roll to crush the rubber compound.. even I have heard that some people to get crushed inside those machine due to carelessness .The whole air is suspended with tiny particle of sulphur, carbon black N220 and other ingredient(carcinogenic) which you haven’t heard of in you life. Whenever i go into that room. i can’t breathe.. I get chocked, block my breath for seconds and elope asap. So i put a mask for that reason. And imagine people working there without any cartilage mask for non-stop 8-16 every f*****g day just to earn a daily wage of 130 -200. Depending upon the overtime.now you will think why they are not laden with safety equipments?? Cause they are not provided simple . sound like a simple harmless little F**k .but its truth. The whole area is black..more intense that the world BLACK . And i guess those peoples life is blackened too. Cause they got no life to enjoy or live, whatever time they get they spend it sleeping to gain power to fight for the next day.. Every day they return home in black attire. Only their eyes and teeth are visible. And I’m not emblazoning my note with spice or irreverent things to make it interesting. If you think so. F**k you and stop reading. Put your goddamn AC on that your dad fixed in your room and sleep..hope you have the remote near to your hands. My words doesn’t go with your fairytale or do any justice with peoples love beauty stories..Anyway. Sometime i do see those people eating in canteen, ostracized from the rest. Neither the management provide any soap or detergent to wash their hands. So they use the soap solution used in mixing to wash their hands. Why am i writing such things today? Cause im too touched and albeit I’m c----- while typing these words.
25/4/2011 MONDAY
2 .A person( labour ) puked like hell in front my eyes. By mistake some carbon black went inside his system and felt nausea. But no one was there for help. I asked some people to take him to the canteen and nurse him. My heart hammered against my jaw. The man is gulping for air, one minute flapping his hands at his sides and the next struggling with the top button of his short-sleeved shirt, all the while ducking and weaving and whirling about, a panic-eyed dervish in half a suit spinning like a fanatic. The steam shot out of its mouth as the carbon blacks leapt out of his nostrils. There is just the man, uselessly flapping like a bird with a broken wing.. Like for an hour he was puking in intervals. I felt bad. I felt bad for my life and for his life. So opposites. i asked him to go home but he said no. His wage will be deducted. It takes all of my courage and energy to place myself into the arm, his right hand on my right arm, resisting finally, i look again at the man in front of me, reluctant to see whether there is anything that can be glimpsed beneath his short-sleeved blackened shirt , now silent gawping at the spectacle, the two of us had no idea at all that our lives are far apart, might for a moment in the next fifteen seconds end with all of the abruptness of " in sake of humanity.. where we stopped, hand poised over one another. I watched the splash of white light on his facade. I handed him 200 rupees and asked him to leave and get a check-up. He said ok and left. But what will happen ,again he will be back tomorrow .labour have no off or paid holidays. No weekly off. No -coming no -wages. . Aside from the man, nothing is moving. It’s like the world is holding its breath. There are people milling around, or there were, but now: nothing..
We the privileged one never think twice while spending on branded jeans or tees or new phones. So i have left a note at the end of this article read it and if possible try to follow it..You knw what in foreign countries usage of carbon black is banned. Why??? they don’t want to pollute their lands. So what to do? F**k the air we Indian breathe. Earlier i thought every we pay for everything..water land food. But air is free..It’s a myth now. We Indian make tyres those for the European market and earn revenues. Cheap labour in tyre industry and conditions are all over same.. Any damn industry. Maybe its Goodyear, ceat, Dunlop .bridgestone, .. They Do` It with Chillies in people a*s’. being a part of an industry and saying so will be like singing a racist song, but it’s ok cause what we are doing is dominating the people. We are using humans and we are losing our humanity in doing so..and in lieu who is gaining profit? The tops head who are sitting in AC chamber and entailing some calculations. And their favourite line is ‘And (WE) BKT wants to be the top share market holders in OTR sector in world after five years..’ You know what the way everyone leans forward and starts working in achieving that.. Every labour have his own story to tell. You will feel like crying if you have a soft heart. it means something profound and sad when they(labours) sing it that way.
Mark twain said "those things which doesn’t kill you make you strong.. Today i learned what he meant by that. Life is not that cheap. It comes very expensive. Each day struggling for bread.. hopefully you will realise it someday what I am feeling it now. I may not be able to give a good glimpse of my cerebral of the pulp feelings that i felt today.. What has appealed to me.
Sure, inking in abstractions from the daily dose of reality. Every one works for money but they(labour) work harder. Everyone runs. Poor runs to earn his bread while a rich person runs to digest his bread. Life is sarcasm. So pardon me today for what I wrote and drew! I know you all are privileged sitting in your Ac rooms and reading this. And some may say -shove it right up their-’. Its a different matter all together. Why you people work or always crying for good education so that you can earn a place in society. You can buy a car. Or may be you want people to begrudge you.
You try to explain why MBA is better?, why at some point, you need money?. You shove and you hate people around you who come in rags. So will say those are casual labours or worker dude. Or its hazira dude chill. The Young Man in the Louis Philip Shirt who is walking beside you, immediately starts shaking his head.wtf?
And F**K knows why that line came to my head.
When you grow up, you say i want to be successful person. Have you ever thought why you said so? Cause you have a firm support.
What about that labour. When they were kid what they might have said. What they wanted to be when they grew up. Bill gates said ~ if you are born poor its not your fault, but if you die poor its your fault~ he should have been here while saying those words. How much they may work hard they will never be able to give a good education to their kids. At some point money will be a hurdle to fulfil what they have thought of. And it’s a perpetual cycle that will runs in their linage.
This is maybe the stupidest thing i have ever said in my life. but i feel so, you may disagree, good for you.idgaff
A final word: when one day, you have made your mark on the world remember that, in the ultimate analysis, we are all mere temporary custodians of the wealth we generate, whether it be financial, intellectual, or emotional. The best use of all your wealth is to share it with those less fortunate..I believe that we have all at some time eaten the fruit from trees that we didn’t plant. in the fullness of time, when it is our turn to give, we must in turn plant gardens that we may never eat the fruit of,which benefit the generation to come. I believe this is our sacred responsibility, one that i hope you will shoulder in time. Go forth and embrace your future with open arms and enthusiastically pursue your own life journey to discover..
Some facts " (from the book a better India, a better world by narayan murthy)
1. the enigma of India is that our progress is higher education and in science and technology has not been able sufficient to take 350 millions Indians out of illiteracy ..
2.It is difficult to imagine that 318 million people in the country do not have access to safe drinking water and 250 million Indians don’t have access to basic medical care. Why should 630 million people not have access to acceptable sanitation facilities even in 2009?when you see world class supermarket and food chains in our town and when our urban youngster and food gloat over the choice of toppings on their pizzas, why 51 percent of the children in the country be undernourished ??
3. When India is among the largest producers of engineers and scientists in the world, why should 52 percent of the primary schools have only one teacher for every two classes? When our politician and bureaucrats live in huge houses in Lutyens` Delhi and the state’s capital, our corporate leaders splurge money on mansions, yatch and planes, our urban youth revel in their latest sport shoes, why should 300 millions indians live on hardly rs 545 per month, barley sufficient to manage two meals a day, with little or no money left for schooling clothes, shelter and medicine?

I think you touch on some valid points in your article. It is the world we live in, I am afraid. There have always been people more fortunate, who rise to the top and remain there, and there have always been the thralls that can never seem to get their heads above water. Equality is not priority in yesterday's world, today's world, or tomorrow's world. We will live and die by our own tokens, and though it seems like it is impossible to get through it, and in many cases it is, the paths that we must take to better ourselves are not always easy. I believe in public service, I believe in the greater good, but I believe in self worth more. I think that you have an argument as important as any, but it will fall upon the same deaf ears that have ignored it for thousands of years. People are people, and they will always be people.

I do not think your piece was bad, but it was written in such a way that makes it hard to read in its entirety. I know this piece was probably written out of frustration, and thus the formatting and grammar reflect as such. I would just say that if you really want people to read and feel what you feel, make it into a story we can relate to. Take out the slang language and clean up your narrative. I know this will sound preachy, but 'i used to do this' makes sense when you are talking to someone, but it has no place in English rhetoric. Right now you have a lump of coal that simply needs some time and polish to make a diamond. Edit, reread, and edit again, and then your voice will be more easily heard.
