Cold

Cold

A Poem by Rookie12
"

Its from the pov of a child who lived in streets with their mom and they are nostalgic about the last cold they faced together

"
Aren't you cold
Asked mom with a scold
Her beautiful face adorning a frown
Being herself in just a gown
In her hold
The cold feeling not so bold
She tucked me to her chest
Muttering curses under her breath
Controlling her wrath
And providing me warmth
Maybe she took all my cold
Cuz now she isn't here for me do hold
Those answered I love you's
Turned to unanswered I miss you's
