Hourglass

Hourglass

A Poem by Ronny

An hourglass stands so still
Awaiting to get turned,
Sand is moving from topp til bottom
So slow. steady and firm.

When the last sandkorn has moved from above and down,
The glass gets turned again and time still runs without a sound.

"Time flies over us
But leaves it shadow behind"
The sound of broken glass
And dust all around.

Even now as the sand is free,
time will still move on.

Time is Eternal...
