What MattersA Poem by RonnyWhat Matters
It's just been much too
quiet for a while And I'm sitting her
wondering what life will provide Some say at the end you'll
see a big golden sky while others are just too
afraid they will never die
What if there's never
gonna be an amazing end Where you see the golden
gates and your late dead friends What if this is just a
story to make you relax To live by the rules and
pay your tax
For Me none of this really
matters I'm the one that's gonna
decide if my life rules or shatters For me there's really only
one rule Do for others what you
want them to do for you
So if you sit there and
think someone is an a*s Please push rewind and
watch your past The reason could really be
within your self And not in the person in
front of you just being himself
But I really think life
has much to give And I don't talk about
wealth and material things Look around you and see
what you got Most of it will just in
moments be forgot
I'm talking about family
and friends The thing that really
matters when closing in to the end What if you can’t hear the
birds sing anymore? Or you can’t see the Ocean
hitting the Shore
This is what I think
matters And I'm for sure not gonna
let my life shatter I see a new face as an
potential friend And the guy that will bury
me in the end
So now take a look around
you again Hopefully you'll now see
your family and friends And that's all that's
matters When it comes to the END! © 2015 RonnyReviews
