Way Of The Universe

I’d like a second of your time to converse,

About topics of our place & purpose in this universe.

Deep thinkers try to contemplate the mattering of all matter,

The fundamental basic recipe of this universe’s mixing batter.

On this planet mankind has the most powerful mind,

But the end or the beginning of the universe we have yet to find.

There are more stars on a galaxy's waistband,

Than earths' beachs have little grains of tiny sand.

The shear numbers of it all, have to make you feel small,

And figuring out the universe is definitely an order quite tall.

Truth of the matter is no matter what you put in motion,

Your overall lasting effects won't even equal a drop in an ocean.

For sure, at times life can seem Very oblique,

Remember the overall meaning of it is to question;to seek.

Do not be saddened by not knowing,be overcome with joy,

Return to that happy state you had been in as a girl,or a boy.

Discover everything,with great new found great curiosity,

Before you knew of worlds animosity,and sophisiticated philosophy.

Don’t let your head boil like a tea kettle.

Take in a deep breath let the mind settle.

On this path you may discover quite soon,

“One may know all the universe without leaving the room”

I enjoy your writing style. Not try hard, logical content but, fun to read. MMMmmm smells like engineer material or potential science degree drop out lazy f****r.....like me. Anyways, great write and thanks for sharing.

That one line is a little mouthy. "Great new found great curiosity. Might want to change great to a different word or just take it out.

"...Great, new found, thrilling curiosity."
"...Great new found curiosity."

Or maybe it doesn't matter because the universe is so vast that the wording of a poem is such an insignificant force that it will not effect a thing even if it did? Or maybe this one change/not change will be the most compelling force that ever existed and actually change the entire facet of the universe through mere coincidence? Or maybe I'm actually from Saturn after all... Wait, what was I talking about?
