Divine Divider

Divine Divider

A Poem by Ronan Munnelly

Divine Divider

Pray forsake us

Have no love for holy words

Dew puddle

Sploshing faith

I shame your wars

You curse my race

Black cloth

God mob

All in a row

Waiting to be shot

We’re drowning in dialectics

on the wet brow of a hill

As the everyman ascends

Spouting hate for souls to fill
