I’d lie if it meant I could love you,

Never to let go.

I would make them love you too,

So I could hold you so.

 

I have you memorized in my mind,

Your favorite color is green.

And if people aren’t kind

My instinct is to be mean.

 

You can play guitar,

A beautiful tune

You’re my star,

Setting the mood.

 

Your colorful eyes

Without a clue

Love never dies

If it stays true
