Open Ends

A Poem by Rory CJ Frankson

I bend to break the posture of holding a breath

And happen-stance of the occurrence translates
Movement in the cosmology the shifting grates
Upon some infinity of presence may yet define

Vastness of a second pass universes unfolding
Under a galaxy of stars in the covering moment
A solitary star winks out and never to be noted
At light speed and thousands of years had past

Atoms passing through with quirks and quasars
Never ending transcending matter comprehends
Magnitudes meshing with futures now becoming
Breaths out the past left behind and out of mind

Those old pieces in forgetting the unnecessary
Constraints of that which can not be containing
The all in everything our universe is maintaining
Captured in a wisp like ephemeral thought had

In the supra-consciousness stored is the chaos
Where others might find its order to be released
The substance of our natures integral strength
On the leaving to our coming children's learning
