Bitter Edges

 

I was starved strained layed down drained

held apart from the start right from the heart

was it stalled or called a thing needing pain

I was held to meld in the form dealing heat

 

You came from the same lame game tamed

so you thought it was not but maybe taught

pulled to the blame of the fucked up gains

You can't complete in this testament to taste

 

We pretend to lend it a sophisticated flavour

as it cuts to bleed drops left upon the floor

leaving open endings plain doors intruduction

We need not understand what or who or how

 

its lost, in the accusations rendered.

Oh yes if one doesn't fit the bill of society ... they ride roughshod over you, and they will forcefully try to make you fit a standard frame, or... Who you truly are is of no interest to society - you simply have to fit in - put on a happy mask - just pretend to be sophisticated - be fake and everything will be jolly. You say "But ... I don't like this, that's not me...I'm not feeling well..." WHO CARES ... just pretend to feel well ... and everything will be alright believe me!
