Wonder

Wonder

A Poem by Blackwood

Senselessness

this and that denial

here and there acceptance

like a graceful coin dancing upon nimble fingers

falling in shadows to a grey stoney flat nowhere

connected to everywhere

but the lost plateau

"let your doubt consume you, did you? So full of echoes and phantoms you let them spin you dizzy."

"No, I merely wondered.!"

"To Wonder is where you should aspire, release little Moth, be burned by the flame. Play not the games of this man and that woman, love what lives in thy heart, be measured by lots cast by the only one wise enough to see, and trust that thine own eyes are theirs, and you shall not taste death."

But its never that simple....

but I don't want to die
