Thus, thy love lost.A Poem by Roland SivarThus, thy love lost Cast unto the shore And through casting lost As any pebble I have warmed Between my hands before Through tumult crashing down Loves weight to erode The lip speaks its death Never destiny sought Nor to control One track of footsteps in the sand But I am no burden held aloft By heavenly or loving hand My feet my only carriage My burden borne Alone to stand And stand he must My soul implores
