TimelessA Poem by RogueExperimental/prose/story
Outside a light rain falls
Small drops form on the glass To trickle down in rivulets Eventually joining others on the leaves below She sits in front of the window Staring outward but does not see Magic projections on the world before her Imagined fantasies of the mind It is here she smiles, sings, dances On a swing beneath a sycamore tree A sun dappled romance in bloom Onlooking branches sigh in their approval Gently he pushes her from behind Her head tilted back as she laughs Pulled to a stop, he bends over her The swing forgotten as their lips touch Her vision begins to shift and fade Time is now at an end for today Illusory panes begin to shut down Another gray day to fill with dreams of tomorrow © 2013 RogueReviews
