Seems the lines have went away Pressured by weight as they stare Just a clown in underwear Can't think of a single word Standing here looking absurd Sweating in the huge spotlight Obvious case of stage fright I look to you and you are gone I don't know how to carry on It's in your eyes that I can see All of the things i'll ever be Truly a state one tries to avoid Alone in skivvies, paranoid Breathe deeply then glance around Heartbeat now the only sound Seems on me it all depends All good stories have an end Lost focus on what it's about Growing fear and plagued by doubt I look to you and you are gone I don't know how to carry on It's in your eyes that I can see All of the things i'll ever be © 2013 RogueReviews
