I realize to others how this all may look
Tucked away here in my own little nook Quietly turning the pages of a well worn book My self isolation is often mistook For I am not alone you see I made a world just for me You may call it all just fantasy Or a product of my own creativity Kings, Knights and Ladies Fair Dragons deep within their lair Silken banners waving in air Pomp and pageantry as trumpets blare A fiendish ghoul now in my head Scary monsters under the bed Those vampire aliens could be walking dead Horrible the things that child killer said Flowery verses of poetry rhyme Heartbreak laid bare from an earlier time Vagabond souls who've committed no crime A creole dinner quite sublime Nothing is ever quite as it seems As I sit and labour over the reams Sewing their stories in type written seams Be they good guy or bad, they all have their dreams © 2013 RogueReviews
