The End of Bliss

T.A

R.M

I never saw your light beneath me while I was falling

And I hope it’s no mirage

Somewhere from the void the serpent’s calling

Has been since those days we used to

Smoke in the garage

But that’s only a memory now

And tomorrow ain’t waitin

The still shots you planned to frame still disappeared somehow

Gone like the smoke that rose from craters in our deepest

Fears and conversations

Can your light cradle me somehow?

Every night I fear it’s gonna be my last with you

But you’ve held on so far, baby don’t go now

Soon the bliss will die

As it was born to do

When this time has come to pass

I will have found out who you truly are

And back to the void the drifter goes at last

Prayin’ that he finds another stain

On the stars
