Venetian Dreams

Venetian Dreams

A Poem by Panhead Rod

...
Winter time is almost here...
Yet, today...the skies are clear.
As the morning sun does rise,
gusts now blow to leave's demise.
Could not sleep, felt unstable,
so I sit here...at this table.
Economy this winter session...
makes me battle with depression.
No dilema...know must cope,
and there's light that gives me hope.
Grab my coffee, blow off steam,
so I'll find another dream...
Light that glances throught the blinds,
casting spells now, so devine...
Frost, it's crystals giving glow...
All this puts on quite a show.
Motions dancing on this table...
enchant me like they're from a fable.
Puts a smile upon my face...
takes me to a perfect place.
Looming shadows in my vision,
send me on another mission...
So I open these Venetians...
Bring in light for Soul's completion.
...
May you always feel the light upon you.
