Mid-Fall ThoughtsA Poem by Panhead RodJust trying to age with grace...... Here I sit... old and crinkled... Hair is grey... Skin is wrinkled... Now Mid-Fall... and in a haze... As my mind runs through Life's maze... Five decades... a working fool... To survive, must still use tools... May someday just win the lottery... Than I may just play with pottery... Like to write... Love to ride... Blessed that I can be astride... Know I'm blessed... Could be worse... Many more have things to curse... Me, I pray our world regains, common sense and heals it's pain... All look past to new direction... Positives all make connection... Dream of world as better place... Music, arts, and so much grace... Dreams of face out in the wind... Playing on my toy again... What can I say... I'm just a kid... Hiding grey beneath my lid... ... Panhead Rod Nov. 17, 2019
