Priestess of the West, the Ix'I Collection

Priestess of the West, the Ix'I Collection

A Poem by Rococopay
"

An epic poem that I am writing for my creative writing class, not sure if I'm following rules right or anything... This is a poem from the Ix'I Collection (See About Me Page for more info)

"

After a perilous travel across jagged mountain spines,

The Ix'i reached the majestic cathedral of Saan.

Underneath the arching doorway, he wandered within

The halls brightly lit; purity filling the air.

The large, jeweled door opened with the force of his push,

behind it a garden, glowling from a radience at the center.

The light came forth, out of the priest floating in the middle,

Meditating; keeping the mind clear thus pure.

In the presence of her holiness, Garren's body singed

as the darkness blanketing his soul cried in agony.

"Hath you entered to be clensed, dark one?" her voice rang through his head.

"Your blessing, Priestess," Garren announced, drawing closer to the light.

step away, her beauty came to sight; skin like the moon and eyes of a Goddess.

The acts of darkness in his past lead to no blessing,

he walked on, out to land and its evils.

Alone, without a light.
