Destiny of a leaf

Destiny of a leaf

A Poem by Rocklady73
"

I was watching leaf blowers cleaning up all the leafs at the bus station. Then I remembered tha t not so long ago these same leafs were still on the trees, looking strong, fresh and green. That's why I made this poem.

"

You were growing strong, looking fresh and green in Spring

high up in the tree, not worrying about a thing

In the Summer under the watchful eye of the sun

you danced in the summerbreeze and had a lot of fun

But than autumn came

it changed your colour in yellow and brown, much to your shame

Suddenly the tree let you go

like your all your buddies you went with the flow

You fell down, feeling heavy like lead

this is your destiny, you're dead
