Daylight Robbery

Shoppers looked on in horror as sirens wailed, the police pulling up outside the city bank.
A masked man with gun in hand was cornered, thinking does he take a chance, when he heard a shout "hey put the gun down and get on your knees" the game was over.

This was my first attempt at a short story at a writing class, we had to do it in fifty words so would like some truthful reviews.
