Your AuthorA Poem by Robynto be bluntly honest I wrote this for my ex . . . enjoythe phrase written by a woman used to make no sense to me when it came to men all the men in my life have been so cruel in one way or another they were "written" not by a woman but by a man one recluse author who spent his days with a scotch to try and wash away the cold he kept in his heart but you my dear are not made of a burning scotch you are vodka smooth and well-rounded you go with anything or with nothing your words melt me my name sounds like music coming from your lips your hands have taken on the world but your touch is gentle for me now when I hear he was written by a woman I no longer scoff or roll my eyes I pause and my heart flutters as I think of only your name
