Displaced Souls

Displaced Souls

A Poem by Vita Rose
"

For my brother, confidant and friend who will be leaving me soon. I must find my way without you.

"

Hello lost soul. How are you?

Are you displaced?

I am too…

Wildered soul floating round

Unsure where to flee

Homeward bound?

Kindred souls often wondered

How we managed to find one another.

Drift we must.

Stick together.

Is this love? Or security however?

Who needs that as Confidants may?

Sooth my soul night and day….

Hello lost soul.

How are you?

Are you displaced?

I am too….

Fantastic writing! I wish I had written this! The flow is impeccable. I enjoyed the gorgeous imagery and the feeling a reader gets while taking it in

Hello - I enjoyed your poem, especially after reading the comment about your brother. Some of the lines/ word choices I found particularly lovely were:
'Wildered soul" - that phrase caught my attention as a way to describe another
"sooth my soul night and day..." - very descriptive of how others can impact our lives
I also the title of the poem and notion of displacement.
