Crumbled

I wrote about you today 
My words laid out on the paper 
Only my thoughts crumbled 
I couldnt find the right words 
The right ones to describe this 
feeling 
This feeling 
The kind that tears at your soul 

This pen ran out of ink 
I don't want to even think 
I thought of you today 
You wouldn't even realize 
You're so far away 
I can do nothing 
But I don't want to be the one waiting 

These lines are too small 
There has to be something better to say 
I should just crumble this 
And throw it away 
LIke you have me 

This bitterness has left me empty 
This is a different kind of heartbreak 
I could re-read your words 
But what good would that do 
I'll lock them away 
I wrote about you today 
You wouldn't have realized anyway
