Our nation, our selfA Story by RobertSnodgrassAfter overcoming addiction into guidance and a new transformed life. What happened when I did the right thing when everyone else was afraid, and the disturbing realities I discovered.
//Our America, Our self, who’s at the
wheel?// - After quitting drinking 14 years ago by the grace of God, and
turning my life completely around seeming to have it all together only to be
illegally harassed, threatened, and fired, losing my job, and the last 10 prime
working years of my life invested in the company at 47 years old, all for my
reporting the corporate manager’s abuse of a mentally handicapped female
colleague when everyone else, although they could hear the abuse and hysterical
wailing across the store, were all afraid to try and stop or report it,
believing they would face the same severe retaliation and persecution as I did,
I have really gotten a lot of first hand personal experience and inside look
into the truth about the rule of constitutional civil and human rights and
justice in America today, and the reality of who and what is really running,
controlling and holding the steering wheel. After 2-years through the court
system fighting my case being completely defeated despite absolute documented
proof of numerous civil and labor violations and even a police statement
proving serious federal crimes the corporation committed against me and the
courts in submitting out-right defamatory lies and false documents to federal
investigators, getting absolutely nowhere despite 3 expert lawyers, a
congressman, and the police backing me, I have certainly learned a lot the hard
way. - Our relatively young country has gotten a long way in a short time based
primarily on a system of beliefs of men guided not so much by their human
nature and intellect, but by what is the most important part of a man, more
than our heart, or brain, or lungs,…our soul, and the more technology,
knowledge, and intellect we think we have today, the more out of touch we become
with what is really important. It would seem that what we may be experiencing
in America today is a sort of bankruptcy of faith, especially in our leaders.
Out of touch men, rather disconnected from their own souls, like blind men
somehow unable to open their eyes or even know that they have them, left guided
only by their instinctive greedy human nature, worshipping nothing but money.
Easy prey for the super-rich evil institutions who care nothing about the
betterment of the people or even if they live or die who own our politicians
and rule and control our country and our leaders like puppets, all to the
demise of everything else but to feed their own evil instinctive human
insatiable greed and lust for money, power, ownership, and control of
everything, reducing our nation to a grossly corrupted deplorable state of
tyrannical oligarchy attempting to falsely masquerade itself as a democracy for
the people to the world and anyone unconscious and ignorant enough to be so
oblivious. - Outside of an all-out revolution, which I don’t see today’s
Americans ever doing, as most are afraid to even write something like this, let
alone actually do it, knowing they would just mow us all down if we even tried,
or more likely, to avoid the international embarrassment of that, do something
like hit us with a nuclear attack by foreign commercial airliner staged to look
like it came from outside terrorists in order to quell the uprising before it
even starts, and to use it as an excuse to launch a devastating war which would
of course generate even more massive revenue for the evil institutions who own
and control our government leaders and everything, and who as history shows,
would as always, benefit hugely from it, I don’t see anything changing.
Although we certainly need to lift all our concerns, It would seem surmisable
at this point, in our so faithless, out of touch nation, the only hopeful
prayer that `we the people’ have left may be for our own souls. - In
conclusion, I should assert that we are all sinners, none better than any other
one, each with our own battle inside to rise above our self, through faith in
Something Greater, or suffer the inevitable impending consequences as our
country is doing now.
