The ability to prophesy about an individual's life is an unusual gift to have, but

also a great one to have because you're able to see what’s going on in another

individual’s life. Prophesying allows you to give someone a message about

what’s about to happen. It can be really scary because you don’t know if the individual who’s

supposed to receive the message will receive it in love. The gift of prophecy is a 

secretive gift, and it is given by the Holy Spirit. Galatians 5:22. Most individuals who are blessed with the gift of prophecy receive backlash because people feel as though they are getting involved in their business. Simply put, people with the gift of prophecy receive information from God and deliver it to that specific individual. Prophecy is also not about your personal knowledge of your life getting investigated by the person telling you the prophecy, but only the fact that God trusts this person with the information to be delivered to the persons involved.
