Genuine People

This poem describes how people in the world should be genuine, yet how difficult they are to find in today's society. Most people are all about themselves instead of being about God's business.

In today’s society, finding genuine people is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack or a gold treasure on a beach. It is nearly impossible to find because the world we live in today, people values and morals are all misconstrued. For some reason, some people think that the world owes them something and they don’t have to work for anything. A lot of people in this younger generation have messed up because in the society we’re living in now if you don’t attempt to get it you won’t have it. In a world where there’s so much confusion and discord that one needs more genuine people.

Believe it or not, they are still out there because genuine people tend to get used, abused and get their heart broken so much until they put up a wall where they don’t get broken because they guard their heart. So if you are a genuine person, stay focused, stay in God and keep your mind on things above. You can always be a genuine person no matter what other people say or think about you.

Understanding that being a genuine person is always a good person because you have a love for humankind. That’s the love God wants us to have. You never know when it may be your time. You never know when you need someone to help you. Pray for peace and love in America now and forever 2019 and beyond.
