The Misunderstood Godly Man

The Misunderstood Godly Man

A Poem by Robert Cohen
"

How sometimes you are misunderstood and it feels like nobody understands you.

"

The Misunderstood Godly Man

Have you ever felt misunderstood? Like life was passing you by? And you sit in a room trying to figure out why God doesn’t hear what you think? No matter what you do, it never feels like enough. It seems like you’re getting nothing out of your endeavors. Because, Truly, this is how I’ve been feeling. I know I am God’s child. I believe his word and I believe he has a purpose and a plan for my life. However, the process seems as if it’s at a stand still. And what don’t want to do, is give up on God! I strive to do everything I can to be good to people, but it seems as if no one is hearing my cry for help in the physical. I know God hears me, but I feel like I need somebody in the physical world to help me wrk through the discouraging moments in my life. I refuse to give the devil any authority in my life. He will cause me to be in this phase of my life longer than God intends. Truly there are times that I feel misunderstood and I need God to help me through it.

Dear God I pray your guidance over my life right now! Help me to understand your word. I need people in my life that will help me get back to your word.
