Why I WriteA Poem by Robert CohenI
write to express the internal-emotional feelings of my heart.
I
write to express to the world about how I feel about what goes on in
my
life.
I
write to release the mental; and emotional pain that I feel at times,
when
I feel like no one understands.
I
write to express my freedom of speech, in my very own way.
I
write to show the world that even with a disability I can do what I need
to
do and still be successful; despite the obstacles I face on a daily basis.
I write because I want to show those on the
internet and social media
that
I am here, and even despite my situation they shouldn’t be worried.
This
is because I am made a prosperous person by the grace of god and
he
blessed me so I can bless others around me.
I
write to give peace and hope to this distressed world that we live in. © 2017 Robert Cohen |
