The Mermaid

A silly poem while doodling as to what to compose.

I wish I were a Mermaid with a

tail coloured pale blue and gold.

I would swim to the surface of

the sea and sing to the sailors

brave and bold.

Those men who sail the seven

seas, to foreign lands with

different climes. Who speak

in garbled gibberish, because

they cannot speak in

        En-ger-lish.

I had this image of this poem written on an old scroll of some kind. But then the end just had me laughing. Nice work I enjoyed this!!
