My darkest thoughts

My darkest thoughts

A Poem by Robert Baird
"

Just dark thoughts that I expressed by putting it on paper.

"

Tiredness imbibed my body

Loneliness eradicated my every hobby

Stitches bonding this together ripped open

As my heart split open and this is the moment

I wished my breath to cease

And prayed for an end to this disease

Beginning in this world to watch it fall apart

We never desired this from the start

Feel so hollow as I stumble and follow

It begins harder and harder to swallow

Whispers intensify into growling screams

Asking when my head will erupt so they can breath

Happiness will I ever see happiness was always the first to flee

Sickness that’s inside of me this was never meant to be

I see the speaker as possible manic depressive in the latter state. I like the imagery of "stitches bonding and heart split open" feel the speaker's anguish. I suggest a break between "Happiness will I ever see happiness was always the first to flee." Comma, semi colon. or period to show their separate thoughts; unless that's not you intention (give poetic license)
