Nova

empty echoes down the hallway
soundless waves hit hard again
barefoot dancers coming our way
silk pajamas pay the rent

dusty photos and rocking chairs
newspaper clippings of days gone by
yellowed from burnt memories
pop pink pills until we're high

                 Nova is
                 what nova does
                 all in all
                 still fight the fall
                 watch us fade again
