freshman 15....or 50?

Why am I fat?

cookies,
ice cream,
donuts,
s'mores!
bacon,
butter,
and french fries
galore!

pop tarts,
chips,
and frosting
on cake.
chocolate bars
and cheetos,
I'm hungry
for God's sake!

candy
and milkshakes
and
no exercise!
Big Mac's
from McDonald's
with two
apple pies.

munching
and crunching
24/7.
for me
Taco Bell
is better than
heaven.

my weight
and my
pants size
are starting
to rise.
eating like this
may cause
my demise.

This is a very clever piece. I love the rhyme scheme in it. I gained weight a couple years ago, but it was mostly due to a medication more than eating. Thus, I don't really feel guilty about my weight, but I wish I could get rid of it! Anyway, enough blabbing. I thought this was absolutely fantastic!

So true! I think everyone at some point in their life thinks, "WOW...I've gained weight...but why?" Truth is...we eat, eat and eat some more and not realize what affect bad food has on us. I'm not going to lie, your poem made me want some yummy desert lol :) Great piece!
