Sad Song in a Major Key

Sad Song in a Major Key

A Poem by Robyn

Chord modulation, major fifths and thirds

Hurt in disguise, longing to be heard

Masked behind blends of perfect pitches and tones,

This song still cries out of heartbreak alone

Showing all the right signs of joy and glee,

Yet it’s still a sad song in a major key

This is a beautifully written musical piece. You can hear the sad music changing pitch and tone with each line and each word. I love those beautifully sad songs that sound incredibly beautiful and uplifting yet it's still the sorrowful. This poem had all of those qualities. A wonderful song within a poem, great expression! Well done!

Music and writing melded together in one... it doesn't get any better than that!

this is such a moving piece,
in few words you have managed to portray such sadness,
i love your rhymes; they don't seem the least bit forced.
a wonderful, moving poem.
it is now in my favorites.

i can relate to the concept
and thought i might recall some aspects about such
in terms of character and temperament
but not happening yet..

anyways
powerful conceptually
how to express such a kind of temperament...

perhaps something will come to me later..

i am new to this site as of today

oh my rating things ...
in terms of numbers
how scary :(

maybe after i

edit mode... at a later time..
after some subconscious or otherwise pondering..
i am going with the temperament that goes with conditions
in your piece
is the fire character and temperament type tai yang
rigid ........
as the suspense mounts....

AND A BIT LATER
FINALLY FOUND
APPLICATION MAYBE ...

While there is a high degree of outer control and success in the social and physical world, the rigid person tries to protect the inner vulnerability and is afraid of getting hurt. A strong ego is used to avoid letting go of inner feelings. A common complaint is that s/he does not experience strong feelings.
